Learn how to use the SAMR Model to assess where students are in their use of technology. Discuss common misconceptions related to technology integration. Using Bloom's Revised Taxonomy as a framework, educators explore and experiment with tools to promote collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving using their own devices. Tips for teaching students to choose the right tool for the job and how to use technology safely are shared. Discover how to select technology resources that enhance learning and instruction, support student choice, promote interdisciplinary studies, and assess understanding. Time is provide for attendees to explore a variety of tools, collaborate with peers, and plan for integrating technology into their curriculum using a BYOD or 1:1 format.
