Join this session to explore the extraordinary implications of the recent shift in federal policy to now encourage banks to provide funding to address digital equity needs for low-income learners. Explore whether and how best to form a local team to participate in sustained efforts, beginning at the Feb. 3rd NH Summit on Digital Equity, to improve equitable access statewide to affordable broadband, devices, tech support provided by linguistically and culturally diverse youths, OER materials, and other essential dimensions of a local systemic approach to digital equity. This effort has been in the works for years and New Hampshire is well positioned to take advantage of this bank revitalization funding to help close the digital divide in our schools for all students.
