Educators will have the opportunity to learn how and why to transition a traditional, quiet library into an engaging, innovative Learning Commons. The presenters will demonstrate in detail the transition at their current school and how it has positively affected students, staff and the school community. Participants will be able to experience hands on STEM activities and a variety of technology-based learning tools, and browse project based learning lessons. Discussion of practical implementation strategies, questions and idea sharing will wrap up the presentation.
